The Precision M3800 462-3490 15.6" Multi-Touch Workstation Notebook Computer from Dell is designed for professionals who require reliability and high performance. Whether you're designing digital content, working with CAD models, analyzing manufacturing processes, or running other performance-intensive applications, the M3800 provides quad-core 4th-generation Haswell Intel Core i7 processing power and NVIDIA Quadro K1100M graphics.
The 15.6" Dell UltraSharp widescreen display features LED backlighting, which consumes less power and conserves more energy than their CCFL counterparts. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a QHD+ 3200 x 1800 native resolution. The resolution allows the M3800 to play Full HD 1080p content natively without upscaling or letterboxing. The display is also a touchscreen so you'll be able to utilize multi-touch gestures. You can also output video to an external monitor, HDTV, or projector via the HDMI or Mini DisplayPort.
The system is powered by a quad-core 4th generation Haswell 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7-4702HQ processor. It also has 16GB of 1600 MHz DDR3L RAM, a 512GB solid state drive, a multi-format media card reader, 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet (via included adapter), 802.11ac Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n is also supported), Bluetooth 4.0, Intel Wireless Display (WiDi), an integrated webcam, and dual-array microphones. There are also built-in stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio Pro suite of advanced audio enhancement tools. Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
