The Precision M6800 730-8377 17.3" Mobile Workstation Notebook Computer from Dell is built with a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and a NVIDIA Quadro K3100M GPU, both of which offer professional performance and reliability. These features allow you to design digital content, work with CAD models, analyze manufacturing processes, or handle any other performance intensive application on this computer.
This mobile workstation features a 1TB hybrid drive that also has an 8GB SSD. This allows you to store all your files on the larger 1TB drive while accessing your more important files on the faster SSD. When you need add additional storage, the M6800 provides three other bays to house a total of four separate storage devices. These drives can be configured within the OS to RAID 0, 1, or 5 to offer performance, redundancy, or both.
The 17.3" Dell UltraSharp display features a native 1920 x 1080 resolution, which provides more on-screen workspace when compared to lower resolution displays. This display's anti-glare matte filter will prevent light from bouncing off the screen and obscuring your view. The screen also allows 110° viewing, so anyone at your side will clearly see from the side what you see. When you need greater on-screen work space, you can connect an additional monitor via the HDMI or DisplayPort. Included along with the Dell Precision M6800 mobile workstation are a power adapter and 9-cell lithium ion battery.
