Product Description

The D-Link DCS-3430 Wireless N Day & Night Network Camera with 3G Mobile Video Support is equipped with a CMOS sensor to deliver exceptional picture quality under varied lighting conditions. The camera can be placed anywhere on the network either through a wired Ethernet or wireless 802.11 b/g/n connection. It features digital input/output connectors making it possible to connect sensors and alarms with this camera and comes with a RS-485 interface, for controlling an optional pan/tilt device, over an IP network. The camera is housed in an aluminum casing for maximum heat dissipation and protection against tampering. A built-in removable infrared cut filter allows the camera to capture images in both good light and low light conditions, making it suitable for all surveillance applications.

The DCS-3430 is a versatile day and night wireless network camera, ideal for small-to-medium business applications, with remote monitoring capabilities over the Internet. The camera employs a superior CMOS sensor with low lux sensitivity to deliver a truly superior image quality under varied lighting conditions. The camera is equipped with 2 digital input ports for sensors or alarms, 1 digital output port for an alarm, 1 power output port for an LED illuminator and a BNC connector which provides both analog and digital interface video transmissions. An RS-485 port is also included for external pan/tilt devices. Additionally, the 12 V interface provides power for an optional LED illuminator. A built-in infrared cut removable (ICR) filter allows the camera to capture images in both good light and low light conditions by switching the infrared cut filter. Additional features such as an auto iris lens, IR LED lens or a night vision illuminator can be added to the camera. This network camera can be placed anywhere on the network, using a wired Ethernet and/or a wireless 802.11 b/g/n connection. You can also capture snapshots while remotely viewing the video feeds from a web browser.

A live feed from the camera can be accessed on a 3G mobile network by using a compatible mobile phone or PDA with a 3G video player, to conveniently monitor a home or office in real time.

The IR cut filter can be manually applied via the web GUI, or set to adjust automatically based on lighting conditions. This feature enables the camera to capture crisp color images during the daytime, and grayscale images in low-light.

To maximize bandwidth efficiency and improve image quality, real-time video compression in MJPEG, MPEG4, and H.264 formats is provided. Furthermore, the wireless camera supports 4 separate profiles simultaneously and is capable of recording in MJPEG, MPEG4, and H.264 compression with D1/CIF/QCIF resolution for a smooth performance. This kind of versatility enables the use of a wide variety of security applications, whether it's keeping an eye on your home during lunch through a 3G enabled PDA, managing an organized directory of recorded video files on a network attached storage (NAS) device/SD card, or fine-tuning a security system in real-time over the local network.

D-ViewCam software is included to manage up to 32 cameras simultaneously, send automated e-mail alerts, and record video to your hard drive when motion is detected or according to a set schedule. You can also connect the camera to I/O sensors, and set up the system to send automated e-mail notifications for unusual events.
