The ZBook 17 G4U12UT 17.3" Mobile Workstation from HP combines powerful processing and graphics performance in a portable design. This mobile workstation is powered by a quad-core 2.7 GHz i7-4800MQ CPU and has 8GB 1600MHz of DDR3L RAM for multi-tasking. For long-term data storage, this system has a 500GB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive and a second 180GB solid state drive. This computer's 17.3" display has a 1920 x 1080 native resolution for viewing high-definition images and is support by NVIDIA Optimus Technology, which consists of the integrated Intel HD 4600 chipset and an NVIDIA K3100M graphics card.
This HP mobile workstation has a SuperMulti DVD drive for reading and writing data stored on optical media. It is also well equipped for high-speed peripheral connections with a Thunderbolt, USB 2.0 and three USB 3.0 ports. DisplayPort and VGA connections are also available for outputting video to an external display. For high-speed Internet connectivity, this model has an integrated gigabit Ethernet port and dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. Bluetooth 4.0 + LE is also onboard for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. This system comes preloaded with Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) but also includes a license to install Windows 8 Professional (64-bit) at no additional cost.
