Design

The design of the device is quite similar to one of its predecessors; the HTC Desire HD. Both the devices look twin brothers from the front, the back though is a different story. The device is quite a bulky phone and the rectangular design makes single handed use a bit difficult. So if you want to reach the other corner of the screen, you have to use your second hand assuming that your hands are of a normal size. The device measures 128.8 x 67 x 11.3 mm and is 163.8 grams heavy.

Display

HTC Velocity features a beautiful 4.5 inches Super LCD that has a resolution of 540*960 pixels and a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch. The display is multi touch enabled which means the screen can take inputs from more than one finger at a time.  

Performance

HTC velocity runs on a snapdragon dual core scorpion processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. The GPU that comes with the device is an Adreno 220. Last but not the least, the device features 1 GB ram so that smoothness and the overall user experience are not compromised at all. The entire bundle is more than enough for moderate gaming and all the media related needs of the user.

Media on the go

Take the full advantage of the large screen and fulfill all your media needs without the fear of running out of storage. Thanks to the expandable storage, the user is not bounded by limited 16 GB internal storage. The storage can be increased by up to 32 GB by using a micro SD card.

HTC Sense

HTC sense is all about bringing the device to life. HTC sense (I personally think) is amongst the best user interfaces available in the market. HTC Velocity comes with Sense 3.5 and provides a bundle of features and a magnificent user experience.

Camera

The camera on HTC velocity is a 8 MP shooter that is capable of recording 1080p full HD videos at 60 frames per second, yes 60 frames per second. The camera comes with dual LED flash so that the camera does not lose its performance in low lighting conditions. The camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, image stabilization and face detection. The front facing camera on the device is a 1.3 MP camera that is capable of recording 720p HD videos
