T18 Classic Gold model is the uncluttered version of the historical T18 model. With its polished gold case, silver dial, embossed indexes, sharp hands and large flat crown, T18 classic gold model is the expression of sobriety.

History :
In 1931, the watch-making company ‘Lipmann Frères’ launched the Type 20 movement (T means barrel and 20 fits to width). This caliber had already a small second at 6 am. This movement has been quickly replaced by Type 18 caliber (called T18). This one was more reliable and flatter. It became famous thanks to its small size and carried off an amazing success in France and abroad. This model has been developed in different versions; the case was mainly rectangular or barrel. Some models took the name of their shape: Type 18 "Drives" or Type 18 "Kepi".
A T18 model has been offered to Sir Winston Churchill in 1948.
