| Whats New? | OPPO R7 - The Ultra-Thin Bezel-Less Phone! Atlast! OPPO has finally confirmed the rumors of R7 to be true, the new smartphonedevice will be officially launched in May 2015, presumably the 20th. so hold on to your breaths as it will take some time before reaching Pakistan. The novelty R7 is an upgraded version of 2014's Oppo R5. There should have been a R6 to complete the numeric series but instead we have got R7, claiming to be slimmer than R5 which for some time was considered as the thinnest smartphone in the world. Noteworthy is the fact that the gadget will get a 2.5D curved glass front panel, as in Xiaomi Mi Note and many of the latest innovations. Despite the fact that R7 is very slim, the smartphone does not have front camera and it is very surprising, since even if the Iphone 6 failed to make a flat surface but did have a front cam like R5. It is hard not noticing Oppo's mechanical Home button on the R7 front panel, which would have an integrated fingerprint reader like Meizu MX4 Pro and Nubia Z9. R5 is selling at 49,900 in Pakistan, R7 will definitely cost a lot more which is quite a turn off. Screen size of the smartphone will be 4.7 inch with FHD resolution. Inside the hood there will be a powerful MT6795 (Helio X10) processor, but previously mentioned chip MT6735, source also reports the camera to be 20.7Mp, which is very impressive. Lets see if OPPO R7 manages to win some hearts. |
