Pioneer has been the first with its new Todoroki system. "Todoroki" means roar or thunder and looking at this system that's exactly what you'd expect it to do.
The Todoroki is a 5.1-channel system, which includes five speakers (two mains, a centre, two surrounds and a sub) plus a VSX520 receiver. Pioneer says the system has 825W of power and all you need to do is connect a Blu-ray player.
The receiver includes all the latest features with HDMI 1.4 support ensuring you can send 3D signals from a compatible Blu-ray player straight through to the screen and will decode all of the current HD audio formats.
If you want to stream music to your system you can add the optional ASBT100 Bluetooth adapter, which can connect to your iPhone, iPod Touch or other mobile phone.
If you prefer something a little subtler, the Movie520Tall system is almost identical but lacks the plastic moulding and grilles on the speakers and comes with a different sub.
