Software

Xperia U initially came with Android 2.3 Ginger Bread but now has been updated to Android 4.0. It offers the Time Scape User Interface which has the capability of viewing your text messages, call log and your social network posts etc. Similar to the other Android smartphones, Xperia U also displays a notification bar at the top which has the potential to show up all your notifications in one place.

Camera

It packs in a 0.8 MP front facing camera along with an earpiece enclosed on top of the device. It also encloses a 5 MP rear camera which comes with the features like auto-focus and LRD flash. Not only this, the back camera also has the ability of shooting high definition videos @ 720p.
