Presenting one of the two show offs from Sony; the Xperia ZL. This is the shorter brother of Xperia Z. Both of the devices are very similar but where they are different, they differ a lot. Xperia ZL comes with a Snappy quad core snapdragon processor, 2 GB RAM, a mind boggling GPU and an amazing 5 inches Full HD display. All the goodness is packed inside a very hot and sexy body which makes the device worth every penny
Being amongst the first two phones from the 2013 Xperia Lineup, the device has a trend setting design. Xperia ZL has a beautiful rectangular design. The differentiating point is that the device is a lot compact than Xperia Z, making it one of the most compact smartphones featuring a 5 inches Full HD display. The top, bottom and side bezels have been reduced to the minimum just to make the smartphone compact. Another differentiating point is the back of the phone. Xperia Z has glass back where as ZL has plastic back. The back is really sturdy but then the phone looks less elegant than Xperia Z.
The display of the device is an amazing 5 inches 1920*1080 Full HD TFT capacitive touchscreen display boosting a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch. Thanks to Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine, the display delivers exceptional performance with crisp, sharp and vibrant colors. The amount of detail the display produces is so high that each and every picture speaks for itself.
Don’t let the elegant looks fool you on the performance because once you use the device, it is almost impossible to let it go. The device packs the amazing Snapdragon Quad core S4 Pro processor, 4 krait cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and ready to unleash the moment you give the signal. To compliment such an amazing CPU, the GPU of the device is amongst the best GPUs’ available in the market; the Adreno 320. To handle the punch from the processor, we have 2 GB RAM installed on the device. None of these components are to be doubted and promise to give ultimate performance be it the high end gaming or anything you throw at it.
Want to share a file? Just bump the two devices and there you go. Thanks to NFC, file sharing is easy, hassle free, quicker and a pleasure
The main (primary) camera of Xperia ZL is a 13 MP image sensor that is capable of recording 1080p Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. The camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR, sweep panorama and video stabilization. To facilitate low light imaging, the camera is coupled with a LED flash. The front facing camera is a 2MP sensor that is also capable to record 1080p Full HD videos at 30 frames per second.
No more shaky images or videos. The Camera on Xperia ZL features image and video stabilization which makes sure that the user has to make the least effort to capture focused and beautiful images and videos.
Having issues finding suitable background lighting for your perfect moment? You need not to worry anymore. The camera features HDR which takes the picture using the normal settings and then processes the image. The best part is that it normalizes any abnormal exposures and makes the picture look clean and sharp. Turn HDR off, the same picture will be washed out at places with high exposures.
