The Ares 6 CGT is a Gen 2+, 6 x night vision riflescope from ATN.
The scope is designed to be rugged, accurate and easy to use. Its infrared sensitive optics and high quality image intensifier tube deliver clear, high-resolution images and help with easy target acquisition. The red reticle is consistent, easily discerned on the green background, and helps provide fast target acquisition.
The Ares 6 is well suited for night hunting, professional or recreational uses. Its integral Weaver mount and single AA battery operation make it near-universal. Provided with a removable IR illuminator, it is suitable for operation in total darkness.
This model sports a Gen II+ CGT Image Intensifier Tube. These high quality tubes are equipped with micro-channel plates, multi-alkali photocathodes and self-contained integral high-voltage power supply. They provide improved image quality, clarity and increased resolution over Gen II tubes.
