With a resolution of up to 6 mils (0.15 mm), the BC405U barcode slot reader is capable of reading any bar coded identification badge. Its sealed optical system is available in both visible light or infrared. The infrared units ensure accurate reading of either visible and laminated badges. Its water resistant base, rugged housing, and IP54 rated sealing make the BC405U a popular choice in any environment. Decoded versions are easy to use and configure.

Black Copper BC405U barcode slot reader can read the most commonly used barcode types such as UPC/EAN/JAN, Code 128, Code 39, Interleave 25 and codabar. It is an ideal solution when you have limited in space. Through the USB interface, it works perfectly with any usb device to read the contact card.
