It has been over a year since I purchased this phone from HSN and I finally feel I should pen down my thoughts. In terms of the service HSN has provided, I would give it five stars.
As for the phone itself, I won't be going over what's technically good and what's not. All in all, it's an amazing phone. The display I feel is much better than that on the S3 and with the S5 update, I have no major regrets buying this phone.
There are however two minor issues I would like to point out. First, the issues with the battery. I understand my phone has now exhausted a major portion of its battery life and I don't get anywhere near the juice out of it as I once did. I expected this could be changed if I ordered a replacement battery from HSN. They gave me a quote for Rs.2000 guaranteeing the original battery. However, no one got back to me and I am still awaiting response. I believe HSN has outsourced its accessories or maintenance department and cannot provide the same quality of service in that respective field. I do not personally hold this against the website since my other experiences have been great. I have ordered a replacement battery from Amazon and getting someone in the US to send it. Let's see how that works.
The second major issue with this phone arose when I updated to Sense 5. Which was WiFi. On previous versions, my WiFi performance was superb. I could get a full five signals almost anywhere in the house. It was doing even better than my laptop PC. But since the Sense 5 update, I feel the WiFi performance has deteriorated considerably. I am certain this is a software issue but have no hope of getting a fix from HTC.
So everything apart, I would suggest the budget user to go ahead and buy this phone. Even 2 years after its release it does better than most of the current phones out there. If you are careful about the battery and have wifi within good range, this phone is an absolute gem.

So i bought this phone 2 months ago and i can't explain how happy i am with my decision. I have also used Samsung S3 but the design is better on One X. The Beats audio really counts in it. Tegra 3 us awesome for playing games and the battery timings without Wi-Fi is 2 days. The camera is better on s3 but the overall performance is better in One X. Htc sence is a really slick looking UI and you never get bored of it.
