How to make a claim?
Claim can be lodged through the claim link available on Homeshopping site or by email on [email protected] and informing the nature of loss and policy number, based on which Jubilee General’s representative shall guide you for the remaining process.
Terms and Conditions:
- Cover to be purchased at time of purchase of item.
- Cover excludes mechanical failure, design defects, perils ideally covered under warranty, and manufacturers defects.
- The Company must be notified and approval obtained before any repair/replacement work being undertaken on the covered items.
- The cover is restricted to address of delivery or any other address designated by the customer/buyer and commodities/items to be kept in the same address for the cover to remain effective except for carriable items such as mobile phones, laptops, however, below mentioned warranties shall be applicable.
- Non-cancellable cover.
- Items insured under the policy may not be replaced with alternate/ substitute items.
- Claims to be notified within 7 days from the date of loss by Customers.
- The Insurer’s liability in respect of each item is limited to the total invoiced value of covered items.
- Premium payment at inception of cover.
- Claims Payable in Pakistan and in Pakistani Rupees.
- Homeshopping.pk is not the risk carriers, Purchase Protection All Risk is an Insurance Product insured and owned by Jubilee General Insurance Co Ltd.
- Premiums mentioned are inclusive of all applicable taxes, levies and surcharges.

Jubilee General’s Purchase Protection All Risk is an insurance policy tailored to cater the losses for your electronic equipment.
JGI’s Purchase Protection (All Risk) includes following major coverages:

Is burglary/snatching covered out of the documented premises/address?
The cover is restricted to address of delivery or any other address designated by the customer/buyer and commodities/items to be kept in the same address for the cover to remain effective except for carriable items such as mobile phones, laptops & Tablets, however, below mentioned warranties shall be applicable.
- Warranted that theft of the subject matter insured will be covered only if it is proved by the insured that theft has taken place by external, forcible and/or violent means.
- Warranted that the subject matter will not be held covered while it is left unattended in parked car or public place.
- Mysterious/unexplained disappearance is excluded.
What value of the insured item is covered?
The item insured shall be covered for the invoiced value on which it has been purchased from Homeshopping.pk.
What mandatory information is required to activate the policy?
Jubilee General’s Representative shall call to collect your CNIC number and Homeshopping’s order number of the electronic device to be insured to activate the policy.
On providing above details, the policy will be emailed to your registered email address.
Are there going to be any deductions applicable on claim?
Yes. A deductible of 10% of loss amount shall be made.
How can a claim be lodged?
Claim can be lodged by calling on 111-654-111 Ext:534, 536 , 537, 538, 539 or by email on [email protected] and informing the nature of loss and policy number, based on which Jubilee General’s representative shall guide you for the remaining process.
Within how many days of incident can a claim be lodged?
Claim should be lodged immediately at time of loss or maximum within 7 days from date of loss.

Can this policy be purchased as a standalone cover?
No. This Jubilee General Product is exclusively available through Homeshopping.pk for electronic items purchased from Homeshoppingz.
What is the period of insurance for this cover?
Purchase protection All Risk is available on Homeshopping.pk in variants of 3, 6 and 12 months period. The cover period shall initiate from the date on which the item is received by you up to the period of the chosen plan.
How can I pay the premium? Will there be any additional charges on it?
The premium will be invoiced at the time of checkout and shall be payable as per the chosen payment method. The premiums mentioned are all inclusive of all applicable government taxes, levies and charges and no additional/hidden charges will be applicable in addition to the invoiced premium amount.
Can I cancel my policy and get a refund?
Purchase Protection All Risk policy is non-refundable and non-cancelable except for when the insured item is returned to Homeshopping.pk.
What type of Items/losses/damages are excluded?
- Mysterious/unexplained disappearance is excluded.
- Mechanical failure, design defects, perils ideally covered under warranty, and manufacturers defects.
- Public/ Product Liability/ Consequential losses of all descriptions.
- Loss of data and software.
- Loss or damage to property in care, custody and control of the Homeshopping.
- Risk of atmospheric disturbance, flood, bursting and overflowing of pipes is excluded for items kept in open / open to sky.
- Losses due to war, riots, civil commotion, strike, revolution rebellion, etc.
- Repair/replacement necessitated due to normal wear and tear is not covered.
- Cover does not include items falling within the scope of a public recall or factory service bulletin issued by the manufacturer, or items more specifically insured under other insurances.
- Cover excludes all non-Electronic items, firearms, parts thereof and ammunition, items bearing and or related to in any way to human remains, pornography and illegal narcotics/drugs Commodities that have been classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods prohibited or restricted articles by IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), any applicable government department or other relevant organization.
- Cover excludes those shipments marked delivery to P.O. Box address or suedo / routing addresses.
- Items that are damaged during the delivery period / in transit from vendor to customer.
