Smaller than your average SSD, the 500GB Expansion USB 3.0 External SSD from Seagate can fit almost anywhere and has a storage capacity of up to 500GB, which is enough for a library of photos, videos, and more. When paired with its USB 3.0 interface, which is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1 or USB 3.1 Gen 2, the Expansion SSD delivers data transfers speeds of up to 400 MB/s. It is formatted as exFAT, meaning it will work with both Windows 7 and later, as well as macOS 10.12 and later without the need for a reformat. However, a reformat may be required for use with Apple's Time Machine. Included is a USB 3.0 cable.
