The Sony 12" Subwoofer
(XSNW1200) is designed to add a bold look and sound to your vehicle. These
speakers incorporate not only a visually appealing feature to your vehicle but
also produce a bass that is sure to attract the attention of everyone inside. With
an enormous 1800w peak power output and 300w RMS power, this size 12"
generates more bass production than 8" or 10" subwoofers could even
attempt. Built very solid and ready for high power handling, this sub employs a
single heat-resistant voice coil to ensure durability and long-travel. The
dimpled Pentagon diaphragm assists in a louder produced sound and the 5 pillars
basket helps diffuse resonance. This speaker will need to be placed within a
subwoofer box prior to vehicle installation and will also require the
installation of an amplifier to regulate proper flow of energy to the unit.
