Here we bring you Sony’s entry level smartphone, the Xperia Neo L. The device comes with a beautiful 4.0 inches display, a cortex A5 processor clocked at 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM, an Adreno 205 GPU and a 5 MP camera for capturing all the beautiful moments.
Regardless of the fact the device is amongst the 2012 NXT series, the design of the device is not even close to the 2012 Xperia line up. Instead of the rectangular shape, Xperia Neo L features a totally different design. The top and the bottom of the device are round, hence a very differentiating design from the NXT series. The back of the device is made up of glossy plastic which to be frank, does not looks good at all. The device is a thick one with a thickness of 12.2 mm
The device features a 4.0 inches display that has a resolution of 480 * 854 pixels, leading to a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch. The display is a LED-backlit LCD capacitive multi-touch touchscreen that is capable to take inputs from up to 4 fingers at a time.
Xperia Neo L is powered by a single core cortex A5 processor clocked at 1GHz. The graphics are the responsibility of the GPU; Adreno 205. To conclude, the device packs 512 MB RAM so it adds to the performance of the device. Xperia Neo l is quiet an old school phone with mediocre specifications so don’t expect the device to be blazing fast. The hardware of the device is good enough if all you do is browsing the internet, a bit of standard apps and gaming, texting and calls.
The device is powered by Google’s open source operating system that is android. The device comes with v2.3 ginger bread out of the box. The update process of the device ended with the final v4.0.4 ice cream sandwich update. There will be no more updates for the device.
The primary (rear) camera of the device is a 5 MP image sensor that is capable to record 720p HD videos at 30 frames per second. The camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus and video calling. The secondary (front facing) camera is a VGA camera so that video calling is made possible.
