The SteelSeries Siberia v2 for PS3 is a wired multi-platform console and PC headset, based on the award-winning design of the Siberia line of headsets, combined with LiveMix technology from the Spectrum line. On PlayStation, the headset is connected through USB for chat audio, and analog for game audio. PC connectivity is through USB or analog connection. Support for dual connections to PC makes it possible to control individual application sound levels on the AudioMixer. On Xbox 360, you can connect the AudioMixer to an Xbox 360 controller for full chat functionality. The ID matches the PlayStation as well as the PlayStation controllers.

SteelSeries LiveMix

SteelSeries' LiveMix feature is now accessible to all platforms from Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to PC and Mac. The LiveMix levels range from OFF, which is unaltered in-game and voice sound, to LOW (game sound is reduced by 5db when your teammates are talking), MEDIUM (game sound is reduced by 15db), to HIGH (game sound is reduced by 25db). By providing optional levels of LiveMix, users will have the ability to control how much of the game sound they want to hear balanced over the voice communication.
