With Google in charge, Motorola yet again seemed like a competitor who was there to stay and still had a lot to show to the world what they had up their sleeves.

Google partnered with Motorola and came up with a Nexus branded Smartphone. While Google offered the OS and took care of the software part, Motorola got the opportunity to showcase what they can do if given a chance, and provide the hardware for the Google’s Android OS.
